Congratulations to Ms. Karen Wheeler, an art teacher at B-L Elementary School, on being selected as the 2021 recipient of the Thomas A. Hatfield Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award is presented by the SC Art Education Association and nominees for the award must have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the teaching of and promotion of art education. Mrs. Wheeler has worked in Lexington County School District Three for 32 years. She will officially receive the award on Saturday, November 13th at the SCAEA's Fall Conference in Greenville, SC.
