Lexington Three Celebrates National School Lunch Week

STEP RIGHT UP! IT’S NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK!

The big top has arrived in Lexington Three! From October 12th through 16th we’re celebrating National School Lunch Week with this year’s theme, Cafeteria Circus. Our school cafes have been transformed into colorful big tops full of fun, flavor, and excitement!

  • B-L Primary School kicked things off with staff going ALL OUT in their circus-inspired costumes to bring smiles to our kiddos!

  • B-L Elementary School is celebrating with special theme days all week long!

  • B-L Middle School students are getting adventurous with taste testing opportunities featuring new foods throughout the week!

And Friday is POPCORN FRIDAY across the district! Every student who dines with us at lunch will receive a FREE bag of popcorn with their meal!

Did you know the National School Lunch Program serves nearly 30 million children every school day? National School Lunch Week was established by President John F. Kennedy in 1962 to highlight the importance of healthy school meals and the role they play in helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

A BIG TOP-sized THANK YOU to our amazing child nutrition teams for making lunchtime fun, memorable, and nourishing for our students!
