“Freedom Truck” Set to Visit Batesburg-Leesville High School on March 2nd and 3rd

In 2026, America celebrates its 250th birthday, an historic milestone that marks two and a half centuries since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This nationwide commemoration honors the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who fought for liberty and helped establish the United States of America.

As part of the nation’s celebrations, a fleet of six mobile museums, known as the “Freedom Trucks,” is traveling throughout the country, bringing the powerful story of American independence to students, families and citizens. We are thrilled to announce that one of these special trucks will stop at Batesburg-Leesville High School on March 2nd and March 3rd. Our district is one of only three stops in the state of South Carolina and we are especially honored to be the first stop in South Carolina before the truck continues its journey west to Arizona.
