Lexington County School District Three is proud to announce its Teachers of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year. Each year, faculty and staff at each school have the opportunity to vote and recognize outstanding educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching, a commitment to student success, and a passion for education. Ballots were distributed to all faculty and staff members, and the winners were selected based on those votes.
We are thrilled to congratulate the following individuals who have been named Teachers of the Year:
Cara Lawhorne – Teacher of the Year for Batesburg-Leesville Primary School
Nicole Yaworski – Teacher of the Year for Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School
Tristan Hall – Teacher of the Year for Batesburg-Leesville Middle School
Kaitlin Jones – Teacher of the Year for Batesburg-Leesville High School
