Lexington Three Raises Nearly $700 For North Central High School

On January 11th, an EF-2 tornado with 130 mph winds ripped through the campus of North Central High School, leaving behind devastating wreckage and forcing staff and students to finish out the remainder of the school year in one of Kershaw County School District’s unused vocational buildings. While numerous state and local agencies have stepped in to assist the faculty and students of North Central High School, Lexington County School District Three also felt the urge to assist in some way.  Out of this desire to help came the Panthers to Knights Love Campaign, which was themed around the Valentine’s Day holiday.

For two weeks, Lexington Three staff, students, parents and community members made contributions towards the campaign, with the final amount of money raised totaling $683.97.  A check from Lexington County School District Three will urgently be delivered to administrators in the Kershaw County School District to assist faculty and students at North Central High School with any needs that still exist.

Lexington Three extends its deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to this campaign.
