B-L Elementary School Students Step Into Leadership Roles Via Safety Patrol Program

Students at B-L Elementary School are getting the chance to learn about leadership this year while serving as a member of the school’s Safety Patrol Program.  The program is composed of 22 fifth grade students who were nominated by their teachers. These honorary students, who can be identified by the bright yellow vest they wear, monitor the school’s restrooms, hallways, and car drop-off line each morning of the week all throughout the year.  Their job is to help ensure the safety of all B-L Elementary School students, welcome the student body as they arrive each morning, and report any inappropriate behavior that needs to be addressed to a teacher or administrator.

Congratulations to the following students for being selected as part of this year’s Safety Patrol:  Jaliyah Brunson, A' Ziyah Abner, Jayda Hinson, A'Niyah Waters, Ny'Angel Williams, Joshua Jimenez, Suraya Cannon, Alicia Ibarra-Martinez, Kamrin Kirkland, Felix Balderas, Eli Covington, Callie McDougall, Blakely Gambrell, Hailey Jeffcoat, Omar Rodriguez-Nunez, Nathan Jones, Matthew Storey, Dakota Baggett, Korey Logan, Reese Boehnke, Brian Chen, and Myah Hernandez.
