Lexington Three Teachers Honored As Part of Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week ran from May 6th through 10th this year and educators in Lexington County School District Three were shown just how much they are appreciated and valued by students, fellow staff members, school administrators, district leaders, school organizations, community members and local businesses.

Celebrations were held at each school throughout the week and included daily treats such as ice cream socials, duty-free lunches, drawings for prizes and gift certificates, and snack bars, just to name a few of the special events.

In addition, the district set up an online form that was promoted through social media that allowed community members to send a note of thanks to a Lexington Three teacher who had made a difference in their lives.  These notes were then sent to the teacher recipients with the hopes of brightening their day and letting them know the impact and magnitude of their work.
