B-L Elementary School Students Gear Up For Annie Jr.

Students at B-L Elementary School are working hard to prepare for the school’s first-ever Broadway musical, Annie Jr., which will debut at the Lexington County School District Three Fine Arts Center on Saturday, May 18th.  Show times that day will be at 11 am and 5 pm, with tickets going on sale closer to the event date.

Students have been practicing musical selections since January and started working with David LaTorre, an acting coach from Village Square Theatre, in February.  Rehearsals are held several times a week and sometimes on Saturdays. Numerous B-L Elementary School staff members are assisting with the show including Kristen Pugh (Director), Courtney Evans (Choreography Director), Meredith Barfield (Technical Director) and Karen Wheeler (Set Design Director).  Please stay tuned for information about ticket sales, which will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks.
